With over 10 years experience as a production planning & materials manager for some of the UK's major manufacturing brands within the Food / FMCG industry, our Managing Director felt there was an opportunity within the temperature controlled logistics market. 

Dealing with 1000's of raw materials and finished goods coming and going each week, most of these requiring temperature controlled logistics, he felt the so called 'larger firms' often forgot the basics of providing a good service, and lacked the personal touch needed to keep companies running smoothly. Just some of the issues were: Pallets were often missed from important loads, Hauliers would arrive extremely late without warning, Paperwork would not be completed correctly or sometimes they would have none at all, Drivers not interested in helping to make sure the load was correct and in full.

After discussing these issues with other suppliers / customers within the industry, and looking for any possible recommendations, everyone seemed to have experienced similar issues from the so called larger firms, but were being forced to use them as there was no other options. This is where Move Fresh Logistics was born!

I feel that knowing we have lived and breathed the difficulties, we understand the complexities surrounding these issues and how to fix them decisively played a massive part in this.
